The operational area of the Organization includes Surajpur , Surguja ,Koria , Korba, Kabirdham, Bilaspur and janjgirchampa disrtict of Chhattisgarh state. MSS working to around 300 villages, the total population in the target area is 5,53,000 All the six district are located in a forest and hilly terrain on the northern and central part of Chhattisgarh state. The geographic location, isolation, inaccessibility and ethnic background keep the area and people backward. The area is predominantly inhabited by Tribal and constitutes more then 60% of the total population. Hence, the main target groups are people with disable, Tribal (Adivasis) Scheduled Caste (Dalits) and other weaker sections such as women, children, landless, small and marginal farmers constitute the target population.
